Year 6

Welcome to Year 6 - we are a happy and hard working group of people. We always try our best, care for each other and ask God to keep us safe and healthy during our journey through life.

Robinwood residential 2017!!

We all really enjoyed our residential to robin wood ! We did lots of things that we never thought we could do and achieved some amazing things: we climbed up high climbing walls; we flew as we zipped down the zip-wire; we made our way through a maze of puzzles to be knighted; worked as a team as we crawled blindfolded around the notorious nightline; we swung on a giant's swing and even climbed through tiny holes as we did caving. We all worked hard as a team and didn't just achieve things by ourselves but as a class .

I think Year 6 have been brought closer together since Robinwood - Mrs Choma

In year 6 we are learning about circuits in P.E, and its really fun. Also in maths we are learning about fractions - Jasmine

Autumn Term 1 2016–17

History

In history we have been learning about Medieval times. From Medieval punishments, food ,weapons, castles, villages and towns there are plenty of things to discover. Did you know that during the medieval times there were only about 3 million people living in England and now the population is around 65,232,000?! The Medieval period was during 11th Century and the 15th Century. In Medieval punishment we learned about being stretched on the rack, being put in the stocks, ordeal by water and ordeal by fire. Year six really enjoy doing history and are fascinated by everything they learn. - Malachy

Buddies

In year 6 we have reception buddies. We have lots of fun when we see our buddies, its also really funny when some of the year 6's dress up. We don' t know who enjoys it most year 6 or reception - Amber, Jasmine, Beatrice, Charlotte and Aleks.
