Catholic Social Teaching
The strong Catholic ethos drives the school’s ambition for every pupil, to be happy and achieve well. This includes those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). OFSTED
Catholic social teaching (CST) is rooted in Scripture, formed by the wisdom of Church leaders, and influenced by grassroots movements. It is our moral compass, guiding us on how to live out our faith in the world:
Our faith calls us to love God and to love our neighbours in every situation, especially our sisters and brothers living in poverty. Following in the footsteps of Christ, we hope to make present in our unjust and broken world, the justice, love and peace of God.

Jubilee Year of Hope
The Jubilee Year is a landmark moment in the life of the global church. School communities are invited to join together as pilgrims of hope, pledging to work together for God’s kingdom of justice, peace and love.

Jubilee Whole School Prayer and Liturgy
We have welcomed in the Jubilee Year of Hope with our whole school Prayer and Liturgy. Together, we reflected on what HOPE is and made our Jubilee Pledge:
'We are pilgrims of hope.
We walk in solidarity with our sisters and brothers
worldwide sharing challenges and celebrating joys.
We promise to be agents of change, working together for
justice, love and peace, locally and globally.
We want to build a fairer world, where every person,
and the earth, can flourish.'
